Movie Night!

Last night, Jason and I had the brilliant idea of getting a bunch of candy and popcorn, warming up marshmallow-loaded Swiss Miss, turning off all the lights (except for the Christmas tree), scattering pillows and afghans on the floor, and watching "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" with Lucas. Of course, the DVD we picked up from Family Video wasn't registering by our PS3 as even being in the machine, so we decided to find another movie on Netflix... Well Netflix wouldn't load until the Playstation received an hour-long update. By this time, Lucas had already downed most of the Swedish Fish and quite a few toddler-sized handfuls of buttery popcorn and Peanut Butter M&Ms. Another great idea popped into my head! Let's set up the portable DVD player my aunt gave us last Christmas and watch "Rudolph" on there! So, for the next hour-and-a-half, we watched our movie on a tiny 7-inch screen that only had a 2-foot power cord. :) We had fun, with the movie ending around 10 pm.

Oh, and Jason got hyper-toddler duty, since Mommy had to work early the next morning :). Hehe!
