I love me some cappuccino (or latte, or whatever... anyone really understand the difference?) when it's cool outside. It's comforting and soothing to me. When I was in 9th or 10th grade, my mom found an amazing recipe for an instant cappuccino mix. We've made it every fall and winter since then (I'm talking, 13 years later and I still love it).
1 cup Powdered Coffee Creamer
2/3 cup Instant Coffee
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Instant Hot Cocoa Mix
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Mix the ingredients together. Store in an airtight container.
To serve:
Add 2 tablespoons cappuccino mix to every 6 ounces of hot water. Enjoy!
I considered experimenting with adding pumpkin spice (since pumpkin drinks are "in"), but I decided I loved this mix just the way it was. Do you have a special go-to coffee recipe to ward off the chill? I'd love to know!

Looks fatastic! I looked for a good cappuccino mix recipe last Fall/Winter, but didn't find one. I'm so glad to have come across your post! I'll be making your recipe this year.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I LOVE your blog name. Too cute. :-)
Love this idea, would make a great gift too in a cute mason jar. Pinned! I'm a "3 gentlemen and a lady" household, too. :) I'd love to have you share this at my Show & Share party:

I was actually thinking about a mason jar gift as I was putting this together. The different colored layers would make it look pretty cool :). Thank you for pinning! I shared this at your party!
